Cory Band wint eerste Band of the Year Contest
Na vele jaren is de titel UK Band of the Year weer te verdienen. In deze nieuw opgezette wedstrijd spelen de deelnemers een vrij gekozen 30 minuten programma. Daarmee lijkt de opzet veel op die van de Dutch Open Brass Band Championships of de Vlaams Open. Uiteindelijk deden 9 bands vandaag mee in de Stoller Hall in Manchester en zeker niet de minste.
